  2.  @misterbeauregard220  would a beter quote not be "don't empower the government with tasks you yourself can solve"? We can have free speech, we can have gun rights, we can have tolorance, the only thing that could stop that is empowering the government to take away your hurt feelings or fears. Even if you win and the government oppresses those you hate (aka sjw's, commies, fascists, ultra nationalists) at some point the government will oppress you too.
