I can't imagine jesus not existing historically, though im also quite sure the biblical version of jesus must be different from the historical figure, we already know that certain early chapters of the early christian faith were removed during the council of niccia, it makes me wonder what the original meaning of early Christianity was, you can trace that the moment the roman Emperor became a christian and the religion became codified that it became more authoritarian and oppressive, was Jesus Christ a peacefull person? Or was he always dogmatic and fanatical? Did jesus advocate for freedom or simply worship of his god? Did he perform miracles or were those inventions of later writers? Im not sure but it's interesting to think about.
