I do have to ask, are things like ipads, mobiel phones, pc's and such really that expensive? I mean if you have to buy the next thing for the most expensive price like apple products or what not that will cut into your income for sure but that's not actually that expensive. I know someone who just has to go on expensive holiday's every year which costs at least 1000 euro per person every year. Then there is someone else I know who works 5 days a week but says he can barely pay rent, as well as the higher energy bills, gas for the car(s) and cost of food (you can save a lot of money by eating cheap food for sure but again this is not a major expense) Finding a house or buying a house is super expensive, student loan cost when you graduate is at least 30.000 euro depending on what you studied or which country you got educated at. Not to mention higher medical bills from medicine to operations or pensioners due to aging populations. Basically what i'm saying is yes you can save money by living a much cheaper lifestyle but at the same time the cost of living is rising and will continue to rise, untill we have a great dying of older generations and changes to government and education to return to the norm that produced the great wealth we take for granted today.

Perhaps im from a more poor background but I never felt like I was living beyond my means, other people often were though and society really sucks these days.
