it's all about selection really, if you could use other methodes for selection with the same effect on genes via natural selection you would have the same outcome, natural selection is just the most common form of selection used by nature.

I am a bit confused on the religeus part, I can understand that people who are religieus have more children but as we all know being religieus corolates with low IQ populations, you could argue the ideal would be part religeus and part seculare as is the case with the USA but then we have nations like China and Japan which aren´t religieus with higher IQ populations, yet with smaller birthrates, if they would be outcompeted by low IQ people's birthrates would they not become very hostile to low IQ populations? this to me seems to be moving towards the logical conclusion that high IQ populations are going to attempt to destroy low IQ populations while using artifical means of raising their birthrates to maintain high IQ populations, is that a wrong observation or not? otherwise it seems all civilizations would collapse to low IQ status which I doubt all nations are going to allow to happen.

well yes and no, there were many different attempt at Eugenics for different reasons, most were indeed attempts to raise high IQ birthrates or to lower birthrates of low IQ people, in Germany and in Sweden the Eugenics took on a more physical idealism of nordic/aryan looking traits while also raising the birthrates of elitist classes which would be people of party loyalty and high IQ populations, though at the same time they engaged in genocide of populations with rather high IQ's so this goes against what we would say is high IQ selection. in short it's complicated but compared to today yeah it was an attempt to try and stop it.

@mythinktube yeah, despite the potential negatives, it's a lot better compared to the current world order, it's a real shame. On the plus side when society collapses it might lead to such a new society from the ashes.

@TheJollyHeretic you mean not having enough children or selecting for low IQ people to pass on their genes the most? because in either case I think the chinese government would do something totalitarian to try and stop it.
