Ayhan Oztas israel is a big deal mate and Turkey would be suicidal if it tried to do anything towards israel, they have nukes, Turkey does not and even beter israel has the USA, Turkey while being a NATO member will be thrown under the bus if they have to.

Zuhdija Muric depends on which countries, the divide is greatest between western and eastern Europe because of language, religion and history, yet that gap is being closed every year. The Benelux shares some of their militaries, economic policies and language, Germany has strong economic and cultural ties with all of Europe, Polish people work in all of Europe as well, same for italians, spanish, Portugees, in fact the only groups of people that tend not to assimulate or adopt to European cultures seems to be those from outside the EU, mostly from Turkey, Morroco and the middle-eastern countries.

@ahmetg.7145 lol they don't have the bomb or the right to the use of advanced ICBM's the only way Turkey is going to get nukes within 20-30 years is if they are allowed to house them from Russia or Pakistan, even if they did somehow invest billions in make ICBM's or enriching Uranium for the creation of nuclear weapons they would face huge backlash from the rest of the world, esspecialy the USA which does not want a nuclear armed Turkey and while the americans and europeans are unlikely to want to go to war against Turkey (which they had armed and modernized these last 50+ years) this is something they just can't tolorate at all and unless Russia and China give their full support for Turkey they won't get away with it and it's unlikely that they would try and escalate tensions just for Turkey.

@METENOR without western aid, without western economy, Turkey would be reduced to patato patch within a few years, it become a war of attrition and Turkey would not be able to survive, furthermove Erdogan is a disgrace of Turkey, if only he fell and his regime then Turkey could start healing and there be no reason for any sort of conflict. Erdogan knows this which is why he likes to use 4 million refugees as bio weapon to threaten the west with and wants Turkish woman to have many children in western Europe to divide and sow chaos if there ever was any sort of armed conflict. only hard part of such a conflict realy, that and Russia and China deciding to join in, which they won´t. Turkey is surrounded, impresive army due to western funding but unless it somehow steamrolled everything would lose in any armed conflict with the west.

@METENOR actualy Erdogan wants and needs the west, wants our money, has gotten in too via NATO that´s why Turkey´s military is so good today because we build it not Turkey. Erdogan is bringing Turkey back to the dark ages, a collapsing currency, a mass exodus of people to more wealthy western nations to be able to work, so much so that they cause nationalist reactionary movements in opposition to Turkey. and about war, Turkey got destroyed by a bunch of idiots with guns in ww1, Turkey has no nukes and is dependent on western aid and military production for it's tanks and airplanes, right now Turkey's strongest weapons are refugees not soldiers and Erdogan knows it. Attaturk would be ashamed if he saw current day Turkey, a shadow of it's former self, heading backwards and threatning the nations that made it western and wealthy to begin with, disgracefull.

Muskan Somsagar except yes way because Erdogan wants to get rid of most of his own people to work in the west, which is why visa free movement is such a big deal for him, why he wants turks to have lots of kids in the west (his words not mine) and why Turkey has tried for many, many years to try and become part of the EU, untill the coup and political purges he was close to getting it. right now the west only realy needs Turkey to hold down the refugees which Turkey then also uses as a threat if he does not get any more money or privilages within the EU. again we don't need Turkey, Turkey needs us.

Maria W except the oil was not stolen and it would have been cheaper to buy it, iraq wars were not about oil though that's a popular myth but it's just not accurate, Afghanistan is a pretty worthless region except for one resource, well two technically, opium and jihadi terrorists, taliban were basicaly soldiers for hire and illigale drug trade gives money for illigale opperations and funding of terrorist cells, it gives nations in this case the USA, plausable denialibility. Nations like saudi-arabia wanted US protection from iranian competition and to protect their oil pipelines. Turkey meanwhile bought oil from isis, is trying to cause wars in the middle-east, is throwing oil on the fires between Azebetijan and Arminia (or however you write their names) threatening Europe and is openly hostile towards Greece which is a NATO country and a member of the EU. Trump is anti war but no matter how much he tries to avoid it, Turkey is bound to drive them back in, forget Iran that's a non threat almost, Turkey on the other hand is a real threat, years of NATO funding and western weapons in the hands of a backwards authoritarian leader like Erdogan? Only bad things will come from his rule.
