@Ze TheGame yeah that's going to be an issue but it's an issue for later, though yes for the next 20+ years EU and member state have to prevent these weapons from getting into the wrong hands, Ukraine still remains also a very corrupt nation and after the war they need funds to rebuild, if European nations don't buy them off Ukranian army/citizens they will find their way to the black market.

@Ze TheGame you really think Ukraine losing is going to get less weapons into Europe? we get poorer more due to covid lockdowns than this war and our own governments are destroying us with far better tools than sanctions on Russia, in fact one of the reasons why we need Ukraine is because Ukraine would deal a massive blow to Russian energy markets. the war can't go on for much longer because Russia does not have the men to take it, it would have to mobilize a lot more troops which they don't seem willing to do, most of the world has already condemed Russia and even China is not in full open support, Russia is the one that's being isolated right now, if the west gives in to Russian demands on the tip of a sword, that would make the west look much weaker on the world stage than if Russia somehow wins through sheer will and bloodshed. doing nothing is worse than losing.

well if Russia changed their tactics and strategy and instead go for a slower more well thought out plan they could grind Ukrainian forces down and try and surround them, problem is they need both the manpower, the leadership and the high moral to pull something like that off, they used to have this a lot during ww2 but now their army is smaller than it used to be, their leadership is just corrupt idiots and the moral is in the gutter, while for Ukraine the issue is mostly an issue of having enough weapons and western sanctions on Russia to hinder their war machine, on that front there is always room for improvement. right now my bet is on Ukraine winning this war but it's not certain, moral seems to be high for them but if the Russians get a number of good victories that might change.

@TimLondonGuitarist yeah they can encircle a lot of the forces there but with the northern front lost, Ukraine can redeploy a lot more troops to the east and south, you could see a static sort of trench warfare develop on that front with both sides trying to gain more land by encirclement attempts and breakthroughs on the front lines or try and go around via naval invasions and para troops, Russia has already attempted this a number of times, though it's unlikely Ukraine will use massive forces for such things since they don't have air or naval superiority (yet) but who knows perhaps there are some gaps to exploit, idk.
