I did not expect swift to also effect these sorts of sites, I feel like this is not going to help the fight against the Russian government, well in a way it does because it steals money from the russian people who make stuff and ensures the Russian government can't tax it, it also makes their regime to be blamed for this, the problem is that it is immoral to just use citizens like this, we know governments do it, we know that in war any tool you can use will be used but this is very bad for everyone and won't actually effect the Russian government that much. it's like stopping all food aid to North Korea, you know it hurts the North korean government and the regime but in the process millions will starve and die as a result, so it's the choice between two evils and who decides which is the lesser of two evils? well we don't decide that it seems, the government decides. idk, it's horrible, I hope they make exceptions for these platforms that don't benefit the russian government that much but does provide something for ordinary people, that's the best we can hope for it seems.
