you know you can house them there right? and it's actually against EU law not to house them in the first nation they enter so Merkel endangered all of Europe, hurt the migrants, promoted more migrations and drove a wedge between all of Europe, this was a great chance to show leadership and show that she could make the right choices and she failed which also helped fuel Brexit, if her goal was to break apart the EU and to harm and humiliate all of Europe she sure made the right choice.

I think Merkel has largely failed, though she had to deal with many crisis after another which is hard for anyone, her biggest mistakes were choices she made which most people would see where big mistakes, when in 2015 she said ''all are welcome'' i recoiled in horror because i knew exactly what would happen as a result and correct I was because we had gotten terrorist attacks, rapes and other humiliating and painfull events in Europe as a result of her actions, as well as Germany being less energy independent as a result of her shutting down germany's nuclear power plants. the fallout of her mistakes will be felt for quite some time and now with her gone the trust in her party is dropping like a rock, she may have held things together but her legacy will be one that is quite bad, someone new has to learn from her mistakes.

if anything this behavior has fueled real islamophobia because your basically treating citizens like second class citizens and showing the public that more of these people means less of your own values, well being, better future for your own children and nation, esspecialy for groups like homosexuals.

31:30 remember that time Germany arrested a journalist for speaking bad of the government? remember how Germany does not realy have freedom of speech? remember how Merkel has been in power for 16 years and her other parties shut out other parties that go against their agenda? Germany is a regulated Democracy, in many ways a lot like Russia with a lot of corruption as well, just more so on the top than in every section of society. Germany is not much of a democracy, liberal, free or civil nation, it's quite backwards compared to other nations like the Netherlands, the US, Norway or even Poland.
