When have corporations not been political? Each of these companies should be sued to stop their illigale boycot of services based on national discrimination, esspecialy payment processors should not be allowed to just cut off services with the only reason given being a national origin. Imagine if we did this to israeli citizens? What would people label that as? It happens because people, governments and corporations have been allowed to think "it's a private company it can do whatever it wants" which is the most slave minded mentality I've ever heard and im very pro capitalism, the issue is there is no competitor for these things, these attacks aren't capitalistic at all, it's full on government neglect and corporate oppression in a very real way, corporations today don't care that much for profits but power and controle and it's very scary.

His soldiers might, these sanctions are meant to hurt the Russian government and the people, the hope is that this might force or effect the outcome of the war. Putin at the end of the day needs people to work and people in his party to respect him, right now that's not looking to good and thus might be forced to make a peace treaty.

Russia is not a democracy, it's immoral to demand normal people to force regime change, if NATO and the USA had any balls they could have prevented this in 2014 but they did nothing, we are probably more to blame than any avarage Russian citizen

@psychoboyjack285 are you telling me it's impossible for the USA or NATO to send troops to Ukraine or build military bases within the country to ward off any Russian aggresion? Because im pretty sure we have military bases in Japan and South Korea, as well as military engagements all over the world, Ukraine could have easily been allowed into NATO, the EU or simply have western troops there if we allowed them to. Another mistake Ukraine made was give up it's nuclear weapons with the false promise that Russia would not invade if they did, see how that worked out? I blame Russia for the invasion but I also blame the west and Ukraine for not acting with the same level of competency they used to have not so long ago, again if you have weak leadership, expect these kinds of results. Notice how non of this happened during Trump's term and it happened twice with Obama's and Biden's terms because they were and still are both weak on Russia.

@psychoboyjack285 the fuck you talking about? of course im condeming Russia, I'm simply pointing out the objective fact that if the USA had pushed for defending Ukraine before any of this or after the annexation of cremea in 2014 then this war never would have even happened. you are trying to twist this into claiming the USA had no way of doing anything or claiming the Ukranian government is just so incompetent and stupid they would not even ask the USA or EU nations to help them out, which they did multiple times even before this conflict but the USA, EU and NATO all said no because they did not want to antagonize Russia because if they did the Russian media, the government, the mainstream media and all the people in those countries would complain and worry that those leaders that would be defending Ukraine were trying to start ww3, remember when Trump got elected and they all screamed that he was going to start ww3? strange how non of this happened when he was in charge and Biden took office and within 2 years Russia invades another nation, this is not rocket science it's very predictable and rational from Russia's part to take advantage of a weak USA and a gullable and dependent on Russian oil and gas Europe. the west had everything to do with this, it acted weak and other nations take advantage of that and it's not going to stop untill you get smart, competent, gutsy and great leaders, the west used to have those for days, now it's lucky to even have 1 leader close to that level, btw Russia's leadership is also incompetent and corrupt, look at how poorly they are doing within this very war, again all of this could have been avoided, that's the harsh truth and that's why you don't like to hear it, the idea that we could have prevented it and we did nothing, same with how ww2 could have been prevented if the allies acted sooner and did not demilitarize their armies, learn from history or be forced to repeat it's mistakes.

It's messed up on many levels, you could write whole articles on how we got here, how insane it is, how little effect it's going to have on changing the war and how immoral it is, the west is not really the land of the free anymore, we are just like the Russian government or China we have little to no moral high ground. The situation looks like "economic total war" where there is no such thing as an unvalid target and all resources are being used for the "war effort" in the hopes of changing the governments actions, will it work as intended? Well it will harm the Russian economy and people for sure but what if Russia ends the war? Do these things get reversed? What if Russia wins? Are the enforced sanctions forever till Russia gives back all Ukraine's lands? When and where does it end and now that it's being normalized who is going to be the next target? Not China though, the corporations love China and the Chinese government does not bow to corporate interest, corporations bow to it. It's really scary to see just how much the west has lost it's way. I can only hope when the dust settles we look in the mirror and realise our mistake but knowing people, Twitter and the media in general, it's probably going to get a lot worse. Cyberpunk here we come....
