  3. Im sorry to say but I don't think Hydrogen is going to work out either, it's not as clean as they say it is. Best solution would be a combination of new car engines and sadly building more trains and driving less cars in general.

  4. Reading this and knowing the EU has pushed to ban all new combustion engine cars by 2030 makes me very sad and worried.

You could argue neo-collonialism is worse since there is no investment at all in other functions of society, it's just resource extraction and some western governments even continue to fund corrupt regimes to maintain lower prices. Most people in the west though, don't know how bad some of these things are, few people tell them about it and even fewer want to listen, sometimes there is no moral solution, only trade offs.

  6.  @Dean.....  idk some problems are real that need to be solved, like the Ozon crisis from certain chemicals which they banned on a global scale and the problem got fixed.

  8. Uhhh how? Fires burn via Oxygen, if there is no oxygen it should not be able to burn. Im not sure what happens with it when you pour water on it but I can imagine it might cause a fiery explosion if the hydrogen ignites.

Well Lithium is needed in batteries, the chemical reaction "stores" electricity, that's how we've been doing batteries for a very long time, however much like how Rubber used to be harvested from Rubber trees, science and technology made synthetic rubber more effective, perhaps via nano technology less resources can be used for the same effect but we don't have that technology now and we might never get it, im no expert but from history I can say, science, technology and innovation drives this progress the most.

  11. Some people do, or they do it to save money, it's an investment that might save money overtime, this could be true with rising oil prices but then again if everyone only drove electric cars the electricity net would be overburdened leading to blackouts and standstill of the economy, not good.
