But the race swap is a political angle, it always has been, it's also a marketing ploy, it's a very bad and stupid one but that's why it's there. It's offensive in general and its almost always only for race swaping white people for non white people, almost never the otherway around and if you did accusations of racism will be made. I for one am sick and tired of this tolorance for racism towards white people and how it's somehow a bad argument, people want authentic characters to their source material, there is no reason you can't find the best actor that also matches the ethnic description of said character, changing that for no other reason than diversity quota's and racist marketing ploys is lazy and reduces the quality of your work all the time. I don't want to watch something that disrespects the source material and attempts to destroy my immersion and then calls me a "racist" for being insulted by it, I don't want to give such work any money or attention, except negative attention.
