what happened to all the great gaming companies of my youth and teenage years? how did it all come down to this mess? even the few holdouts of great games have fallen, literally the only games i feel worth playing are older titles and indi games? it's all gone to shit so much, we have the best tools to make games today, we have an industry that's bigger than anything we could have imagined and yet it's all so hollow, so pointless, so tiresome. when will these dark ages end? is there anything that can save gaming from the corporate hell we seem to be heading straight towards?
