8:22 starving people actually make for bad revolutionaries, revolutions mostly happen from within the upper and middle classes in society with only mild support from people from the bottom, elites have better organisational skills, they know the weaknesses of the system and most often they have some influence in the keys to power to overthrow the government.
When you look at China there really aren't that many forces you can rally around for revolution, the cops are corrupt, the CCP has all your data and social credit system keeps you in check, you can't suddenly move via public transport because you will be blocked from access because of "covid" there really is no force within China that could overthrow the government, except maybe the CCP itself.
A lower GDP, less young people to support the system and poorly paid cops, soldiers and government workers are a more likely indicator of potential revolution than signs of starvation, a CCP that tried to invade Taiwan and gets humiliated might also compound these pressures.
