@riyank5238 I don't think school is the best place to learn new and interesting things anymore, quite the opposite in most cases.

The future is more like a black hole of misery for most of future humanity, just look around and beyond, very little to be hopeful for.

@КириллВасилевский-й3й doubtfull, science has become corrupt and political, giving them even more money won't solve the problems of humanity just direct them in a different way, humans and governments are the same no matter who gets the funding.

Realy? That depresses you? Must be nice if that's what's bothering you.

@КириллВасилевский-й3й perhaps war is inevitable and not having any major wars will actualy doom the planet, have you ever considered that could be the case? Total nuclear armageddon aside of course.

Kanha the third well whereever humanity is going right now it seems to be heading towards the trash can so could we change directions then it might be interesting to see.

@Drakonus_ well that's rough buddy, cheer up it could always be worse which it likely will be in the near future, always seems to go that way anyways, esspecialy for the planet and what not.

What's wrong with you people?

Weezy Dusting or perhaps less school is the solution, Finland has one of the best education systems in the world and they have less school time, less homework, smaller class rooms and more free time for kids to explore on their own. My personal experience with school was lots of yelling, lots of stress, lots of bad teachers who enjoyed wasting time and humiliating children and did most of my actual studying and learning on my own not in or around school but everyone seems to have a different experience it seems.

@djayjp I find that hard to believe with micro evolution, different diet and more harsher enviromental presures, esspecialy after the industrial revolution we see a drop in human health and ability.
1
@djayjp how do fossil records support the genotype? you mean that that from the bones and genetic analisis says that there is very little difference between them, despite the stark contrast and difference in micro evolution, epigentics and gene expression? over how many generations? 1000? i find that hard to believe but I suppose we need more evidence to prove it one way or the other, I just find that hard to believe is all.

@djayjp seem irrational to me to believe that is the case as our ancestors lived on a fastly different diet and life style back in their time then we do today, changing major diet, life style over many generations through epigentic, gene expression and micro evolution is bound to have major impact on evolution and adaptation to how the species functions, you can see the difference between a modern human who lived in major cities and tribal isolated people's who still live much like they did 10.000 years ago, of course through 10.000 years they are likely to have changed still compared to early humans 10.000 years ago but they seem to be a lot more robust and not suffering from as many ills and body changes as compared to modern humans so the idea that in 10.000 years that would not be any noticable changes seems irrational and would go against the fundamental rules of evolution via mutation and natural selection, don't forget that we also have group selection in higher and more complex societies which happen at a bigger scale than more tribal societies. though some evolutionists disagree with the theory of group selection vs gene selection though to me it seems more likely that group selection plays a major part than gene selection.

@djayjp I don´t think you assumed I was saying we have wings or could no longer mate with other distant human lines, just that through changes we have become somewhat weaker than our early ancestors, so im not quite sure what you would class as a major change through evolution, since evolution always happens depending on the presures that selects for major changes and since humanity invented farming and industry it makes sense for these new presures to force human genetics to select differently. im just pointing out we have changed, we aren´t the same people we were 10.000 years ago, not a whole different species just different and adapted to our new ways of life.

@djayjp except we are weaker, have more intelligence, less hair, no longer have severe natural selection and imploy different forms of group selection in our civilization for over 10.000 years since we started farming. I very much doubt any evidence that says we have not changed at all, in terms of where are organs are I doubt they will have moved or changed but in terms of our brains, immune systems, behavior and hormonal levels the idea we have no changed at all seems very unscientific and irrational to me but perhaps you are right in the sense that they need more evidence from today compared to 100.000 years ago since I doubt DNA can be 100% preserved so most evidence that we have not changed at all must have been from bones and not a breathing human being but I be glad if you could show me otherwise, it's just something im very sceptical about because it does not make sense with my understanding of evolution.

How are we the same people as 12.000 years ago?
