@estivalbloom that's not a good argument to be honest, now more then ever we need nuclear energy, we should have done it 30 years ago yes but not doing it now would be a huge mistake, China and India are investing in nuclear energy and we will fall behind if we don't, just look at France and their nuclear energy production, it's well worth it.

@michaelpapadopoulos6054 except they don't always work, cost a lot to maintain, kill other animals and can only be build in specific spots, we should never limit ourselfs to just one technology but not investing in nuclear energy is the biggest mistake our species could make.

@dariusduesentrieb no they would not, the only reason they would say otherwise is because the public and government could shut it down for whatever reason, in a free market we would have tons of nuclear power plants.

@michaelpapadopoulos6054 not realy true, a single nuclear power plant has more maintance then a single wind turbine but in terms of energy produce of a single nuclear power plant, beats way more then equal amount of wind turbines, plus the use of land is much more compact and less damaging to nature, the environment and can be used 24/7 and is not dependent on the wind. I don't understand why some people think wind turbines are such a great thing, they are horrible, cost a lot, kill animals, don't produce a lot of energy and other methods of green energy are much better than wind alone, solar is good, hydro is very good, geothermal is also very good, wind? It's the most useless, expensive and inefficiënt way of producing clean energy and mostly only exists to give some people that are in favor of it the illusion that they are helping the planet and fighting climate change. While Germany fell back on their co2 reduction aims and reopened coal plants and build more wind turbines, France reached their goals and more, why? Because they use nuclear energy. There realy is no logical and rational argument against nuclear energy, it's just fear, lack of understanding of technology and government policy, the only real argument you can make is that such power plants can be potentially used to create enriched uranium and thereby potentially build a nuclear bomb, so basicaly nuclear power works so good that not all nations want it because it's so potent and amasing.

Finally a channel that promotes nuclear energy and points out the stupid choice of the german government to phase out nuclear energy by ignorant enviromentally blind idiots, I would have added though that France gets 30% of it's energy via nuclear energy and reached it's climate goals, while Germany has not. I would love to see more nuclear power plants being build and hopefull if Thorium ever becomes a major source for nuclear power.
