If Turkey was a civilized, democratic, law and order nation this issue would be resolved with ease but because Erdogan is making threats and disrespecting both greece and it's own people's culture, the incentive on them is to make things difficult for Turkey and if Erdogan starts making too hostile moves he might face both Greece and France in the region and after any major military engagement he risks having most of the EU nations against him as well. Turkey is becoming like Germany before ww2 started, authoritarian leader, extreem nationalism, ethnic and military expansionism, making "allies" with the Russians.

Discusting

Because most have their favorite side already and don't want to start a flame war.
2
@aldemir6127 no worries, we all want to invade Ireland at some point, hehe.
2
Well since NATO belongs to the USA they would decide, however if 90% of members favor say Greece, the USA would likely side with Greece to maintain their Alliance stability.
2
perhaps this is a long term plan to undermine the Erdogan regime and force the hand of the USA to interveen or els discredit the NATO alliance to not be in EU and greek interest?

Turkey as a government is kinda shitting on Greece and Europe in general right now, many turkish people as well, hagia Sophia for example but that's just one example.
1
@Sultan Abdulhameed II so your saying war would be a good thing?
1
Sadly most of Turkish and European history is one of conflict and war, old wounds that won't heal, esspecialy now with Erdogan im afraid. The slate is not clean and people don't want peace as long as they have enemies they despise. War seems inevitable right now for beter or for worse.

@Read the fount of knowledge by St. John of Damascus you do realise we have drones and nukes right? How long do you need to train to be an army grunt? Turkey vs west seems like a worthy war to fight in, unlike all the other "wars" we've seen these last few decades.

Israel : hold my beer
1
@Read the fount of knowledge by St. John of Damascus fair enough, it's just that they themselves consider it a non-stop "war"
1
@adder95 true but the jewish people were around about the same time if not earlier. And the greeks were taken over by the romans about what? 200 BC or something? Im just saying some the jewish people consider it a longer conflict than it actualy was.

Second turk that wants to invade Ireland

Is that a major deal? I expect the israeli's to break it any day, also he might get censored if he talks about it in any way but positive. ADL just waiting with their knifes in hand like always.
1
@eduardfaraj1697 yeah about 99% of the people sayd the same thing before they got demonitized, banned and kicked off most platforms, it's happened so much and so often, I expect it to happen whenever someone mentions that country, ADL are the biggest gate keepers and censorship loving hatemongers around.
1
It's already a mess, not many Turks yet though so mostly peacefull.

How come? And where can I find beter information?

@TheUnbelieverGr I thought the hague only dealt with war crimes and other mostly war related offenses? Would they not have to go to the UN? Idk for sure. People can make mistakes, sometimes our meaning is lost in context, larger could mean not larger population but larger city area which could make sense since Athens is made on a smaller landmass than Izmir is though im not sure if that's actualy the case, I just assume that's where the confusion comes from in that context of the sentence.
1
@TheUnbelieverGr interesting
1
Depends on the war, short and non nuclear are my favorite, sometimes war is inevitable and Erdogan is like a new Hitler.
1
@loukasfrantzolas6494 he sounds like Hitler then.
