  1. If their governments don't care about animals being tortured, then of course they wouldn't care about organizations doing their job of enforcing. Obviously not all Asians agree with it but it is happening in Asian countries in broad daylight. You can buy dog meat and all kinds of animal cruelty products right in their grocery stores so where is the public protest and backlash? Actually, Seaworld is going to stop their orca program because people stood up against it. The improvement is much quicker in the West whereas more extreme crimes in Asia still go on because the people aren't collectively opposed because they view animals differently. Asians have the power to change it if they unite and make themselves heard.

  4. The organization that saved the bears is Western. It's founded by Jill Robinson. They get locals to help. But, the real issue is that the people buying the bile for pseudo-medicine are Asian. The demand and the practice of inhumane cruelty is done by them. Cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets are nowhere near being the same.
