There would be no back and forth if she simply agreed from the start. She needed to have Peterson display his arguments on air. There is no reason to attack her when she was actually doing a service in presenting the ideas.   2. whitefields5595 No, you're misinterpreting what I'm saying. I'm not "welcoming" them. I'm saying that they exist and the opposition uses such claims and arguments. Therefore, it is very beneficial to the discourse that Peterson shows effective counter arguments to the broader audience. If you think feminists don't often use these claims and arguments and it's only from Cathy as a individual. you're wrong.

  3. She's not an "interviewer" really and her job isn't to be fair. It's a mainstream news piece. Her job is to provoke. Mainstream news aren't about serious rational discussions.
