  5. Optimism isn't convincing. What's the point of saving more lives and economic security when the quality of people hasn't increased? Quality of life matters most and the same goes for quality of people. Humanity hasn't improved on a moral level despite technological advancements.

There is no chance a 3rd world person is going to be some genius who solves the world's problems. When has that ever happened? Bill Gates should join Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos to colonize space. That's what billionaires should be doing so advanced civilizations can leave and the ones left behind can figure it out themselves.

  9. It's common. Nothing rude about subtitles at all. There are videos where British people are subtitled even though almost all of us understand it perfectly. Some people have English as a second language so it helps them a lot.
