Hermeticism, esotericism, rosicrucianism, .etc are all the same antiquated symbolic idiocy. They are understandable. They're just silly and outdated. People who cling to the allure of some secret, hidden knowledge are pretentious fools no better than other metaphysical worshippers looking for something other than reality.

Nietzsche's philosophy was co-opted by Nazis. Many twist his philosophy to support their ideology because Nieztsche's bombast style and heroic sensibility is appealing.

That's nice but you're just picking and choosing and defining what is the "fundamental core" by your interpretation. Similar to all the denominations of Christianity being selective and claiming to the the proper faith . That does not define the main religion. Buddhism without your personal interpretations and practice is rooted in the metaphysical. Karma is not simply "cause and effect". That's a lie. You can not say meditation is nothing out of the ordinary when you do not know what is ordinary for every individual. That's a lie. The whole concept of buddhahood and enlightenment is metaphysical. You are full of errors and your bias with your years of studies has blinded you from being truthful. You're misunderstanding a lot. Nietzsche's idea of the Superman is nothing like becoming a Buddha. It's about one's psychology and values. It has nothing to do with bullshit "higher consciousness", chakras, meditation, or any other silliness. If you watch the video, it states that man cannot become the Superman. Higher types can strive to be the bridge. That's different than saying one can reach enlightenment and become a buddha. Nietzsche also points out that not everyone is capable of being a bridge whereas Buddhism with all its lies says anyone can reach enlightenment.

Practical? Again, that's something that could be said about any religion. It says nothing. Buddhism is a religion based on the metaphysical. These are facts. You can call it whatever you want, but you are dishonest. It is not philosophy, which seems like something you don't understand. You are not a truthful person, and you don't understand what sets philosophy apart.

The MacSo Don't lower yourself and be immature. When reading Nietzsche, he differentiates Truth (capital T) with truth. There are truths. There is no Truth which is absolute truth. There are also facts and there are proper definitions. I agree with Nietzsche's Perspectivism, and I have been consistent with it. "nothing is true, everything is permitted" is nihilism, and it's what Nietzsche's philosophy is responding against. Nietzsche's philosophy says there are higher and lower values, higher and lower moralities, higher and lower truths. Yes, everything is permitted, but not everything has high value and is noble. If you're okay with lowly thinking and lowly being, that is permitted but it means you're inferior. The MacSo I haven't made a mistake. I clarified your misunderstanding that my usage of truth refers to higher truths not absolute Truth. Nietzsche does the same in his writings because as mentioned before truth is about context. Don't be a hypocrite and recognize how you compose yourself through writing. Also, there's a difference between attacking character flaws and resorting to name-calling. One is about correctly assessing a person's character the other is an emotionally weak attempt at revenge. Your youth is showing.
