@CptVein People make all kinds of choices between submitting to basal drives and submitting to socially accepted norms. It is the ability to overcome animalistic problems instincts because we have the capacity to simulate the future. You’ve basically made the argument to justify acting like animals.

@CptVein A “victim mentality” is a world view that presupposes one’s suffering is the fault of something other then themselves. It allows the victim to relinquish responsibility for their situation thereby relieving them from making a change for the better. They generally whine till somebody else makes it “better” for them; generally government.

@pheenobarbidoll2016 Even IF a question is asked merely because somebody is intending to be an a$$hole, the legitimacy of a question and a truthful answer is separate from who asked it, how they asked it, or why they asked it. Addressing somebody’s intent is merely an excuse to avoid answering a question.

@CptVein Fact: identification is for others in a society. Self-identification is for a narcissist. If a male is interested in starting a family with a female, he deserves to know that the person he is dating is in fact a female. Another male presenting as a female is lying to that man thereby denying that man his right to choose who he dates.
