This movie seems like a counterpoint to The Time Machine and how we can either end up strong and vibrant like Starship Troopers or useless and the “happy” NPC-like Eloi. “You’ll own nothing and be happy.” says much about the direction we are headed.

The science of replicants (basically cloning combined with gene editing) just muddies the discussion more than the one in “I, Robot”, “Deus Ex Machina”, “The Matrix”, “Alita: Battle Angel”, The Terminator franchise, “The Real World”, or the original story that birthed the genre in modern times, “Pinocchio.” The “real boy/girl” trope is a philosophical exploration of the mind/body question that has been going on for thousands of years. The body defines life, but the mind defines living.

  13.  @raspas99  I thought the same about the “conflict of interest” comments, but, I don’t agree with your assessment of replicants. There wasn’t just ONE version of replicants. That’s like saying there was only one version of iPhones over. Do you think that research and innovation just stopped for some reason? The wiki even details a couple of these versions, and from the sounds of it, Rachel was SUPPOSED to bear Tyrell’s kids since he was such a wanker, but Roy fixed that, and Deckard REALLY fixed that. Tyrell and Wallace seem to have this god complex wherein they think that biology determines personhood rather than thought. The opposite view in aliens was that the synthetics, being more machine, was considered life by their creator, Weyland. Roy Batty wanted to be seen as a son, and Weyland wanted to be seen as a father. It’s like Weyland and Tyrell should have swapped creations. 😂

Freedom of Speech is the ability to express oneself free of coercion or suppression. The First Amendment protects Freedom of Speech from the government. Society needs to protect it from itself. People, like you, do not understand the fundamental purpose of language. This has resulted in your bastardization of its use. Grow up. Learn things. Ask questions until you understand things better.

He understands right from wrong, but he wants to justify his fall by making the virtuous fall with him. Until Injustice, he focused on making Batman fall which he sees as the epitome of self control: stoicism. If he can cause Batman to fail, then The Joker is no better or worse than ANYbody else.

Being overtly an SJW, this helps paint SJWs as the narcissistic useless people that they are. Amber represents all the worst thing about social “activism” which is underscored by Mark and Samantha’s ACTUAL activism. While “activists” live their comfortable lives heroically hashtagging villainy into oblivion, Mark and Samantha selfishly risk their lives for people they don’t know. People really should be thankful for Amber’s character because it exemplifies what it means to be a stunning and brave Warrior for Social Justice: utterly fucking useless. They should put more real life SJWs into supporting roles in popular media to reveal the truth of the situation instead of complaining about crap material portraying SJWs as “stunning and brave.”

Don’t you know how GPS works? 😂 It compares the angles between you and multiple stationary (relatively) points in order to triangulate location in order to plan a path to a destination. Without great people as a point of reference and a means to triangulate where you are, you’ll have a tough time figuring out which direction to go. YOUR GPS is based on the people around you and their ridicule. Great plan, kid. 😂
