  1.  @vvcreative2628  Your comment got me thinking that The Joker is a sociopath, and not a psychopath. He understands right from wrong, but he wants to justify his fall by making the virtuous fall with him. Until Injustice, he focused on making Batman fall which he sees as the epitome of self control: stoicism. If he can cause Batman to fail, then The Joker is no better or worse than ANYbody else.

  2.  @nickh5081  The Joker represents the force of Nature: whimsical and destructive. Batman represents mankind’s drive to impose order on seeming chaos. Batman needs The Joker as much as mankind needs problems to solve; to struggle. Chaos: no structure prevents construction. Order: all structure removes purpose.

  3.  @jeremiahsy4849  The problem isn’t what you’re “interested in.” The problem is thinking that a SINGLE factor means anything as broadly diverse as “western” art or “Korean art” or whatever. I’m not saying you’re bad for being prejudice. I’m just saying you’re prejudiced.

If you don’t do something because <insert over-simplified characteristic of a complex concept>, then you are irrationally limiting yourself. “Western” movies are pretty varied to be lumping them together under that simplified description. Again, you’re free to do so, but it is irrational.
