The rolling blackouts are caused by delays in implementing green energy, not BY the green energy. CA is a unique case where mudslides and forest fires have already been increased dramatically by global warming and will only get worse. Blaming EVs is like blaming a vaccine for making you feel bad for a day and saying you'd prefer to just get the disease and die a slow and painful death.

@jeffkutlesa7315 nope - all my posts are still here. @slartibartfest was reacting to your first long post in this thread where you said the green movement was just "an ill-thought out political agenda." I wouldn't personally say you're an "empty can" - I would just say you are biased and looking for reasons not to change from our current tragic climate trajectory because it might inconvenience you somehow. Your statements about climate corrections being done on the backs of the poor.. just projections. The real damage from oil and gas drilling and refining is already done in the backyards of the poorest, resulting in poisons and pollution in their water and air. A view of windmills is a lot more pleasant (to me, obviously) than a field of oil rigs or refineries. And of course there's not enough green capacity yet- what do you think we're fighting big oil for? How can anyone justify the $20 billion per year we subsidize big oil with compared to the few hundred million we spend on green?
