  1. Ahh japanese workculture. I cant be any worse. Everything i read/hear so far from diffrent (even japanese) journalist is horrible. Over time (which they try to fight but it aint reaaaalllly working), high pressure, punishments, bullying and the list goes on. I am not a bit suprised this incident happend. A pilot under simliar stress would have also caused an accident. Japan really needs to change its workculture As one german youtuber (who is fluent in japanese as far as i know) said: "i would love to live in japan if i just wouldnt have to work there"

  2. Sounds awfully like a new type of steel back when the bridge was cosntructed and nobody really knew how it would actually rust. Thus the engineers planned with a non rusty steel, but the plant wasnt able to provide that. COmbine this with as usual utterly horrible maintanace and you get this kind disaster.

  4. Just as a reference, the second explosion has roughly a tenth of the hiroshima bomb power, yet did this damage. Just to remind you how much more pwoerful nukes are, and that a single one can indeed level a city

  5. Yeah the thing with donating blood hits me. I wish i could but even my regular blood checkups always end in my cramping and solving math forumlas in my head. There is just no way i would be able to donate any siginficant portion

  6. Why do people walk up the tunnel? the smoke will go there.... like it's such a simple principle it's hard for me to understand why no more people jsut went for the dash trough the fire.
