  1. No.... a good politican would tell these people, that their safety is caused, by the conventional deterrence those bases provide.... if people dont understand that concept, than sorry for them, but they are a lost case.

  2. So basically a number of people want the US army to leave Japan? i hope they are aware, that that would also include the deterence of the US nuclear umbrella.....

  3. @JackDutch-b2n aka Japan is no longer under the nuclear umbrella. For reference: IN JAPANS OWN milltiary strategy, made by its high command, the alliance with the US is iirc spot one or two in terms of importance.
