After a dentist has put a filling in a tooth, then that area is "finished". Some of the enamel has been removed and the surrounding part has been mechanically damaged by the filling process, so that area will never be able to self-repair. However, going ahead and using the Complete Mouth Care System from now on will strengthen all of the remaining tooth area to avoid future dental work as well as helping the fillings he put in to last way longer, if not forever.

In most cases when a crown keeps on coming loose and needing to be recemented, it is due to the dentist performing an ill-fitting crown.

Switch dentists! Yes, it is totally possible that frequent cleaning caused the gum recession, and those "deep" cleanings would be even more damaging. Since it's been longer than a month since you left that comment, you may have already gone to that last appointment? Dr. Ellie recommends starting the system and then waiting at least 6 months before going to another dental visit to see how much improvement you can get in that time. This enables many to never have to have work they were told they needed.

Unless you have something serious that requires an emergency procedure, Dr. Ellie usually recommends that people start on the program and give it 6 months before having another dental appointment, to see how far you can get with improvements before resorting to dental work.

Cosmetic dentistry would usually damage tooth enamel, so it would not improve the health of the mouth, as enamel mechanically damaged by the dentist can never self-repair, even if you are using the CMCS. It's best to avoid the cosmetic dentistry and just use the CMCS, which will give the most improvement in mouth health.
