@mannohneschuh Actually no. Heisenburg was a practicing lutheran and was explicitly against dismissal of religious thought as somehow 'replaced' by scientific thought. He saw the two as separate and equally valid. Many of the most profoundly successful scientists in history felt similarly. (Sorry to rant; I realize you were just making a joke. It just bugs me when people assume science, and therefore the scientists that pursue it, are somehow anti-god. Certainly some are, but it's not at all an inherent aspect of science)
