  4.  @kaisermarxistdixie6842  You understand nothing then. USA formed as a loose confederation and should have remained that. Like USSR shouldn'thave been all about Russia. There was no basis for united America, as 1861 war showed. EU was mean to be political since it was born in 1957

  5.  @kaisermarxistdixie6842  No I am not. America wasn't meant to be more than a Confederation as per Constitution, Hamilton forced it. And even so, even with a threat like uk looming, it took 11 years to form a Federal government which eventually collapsed in 1861 Not to mention some states declared war to each others soon after the indipendence and it was this close the Confederation didn't break. So far in Europe there has no been a civil war, probably because what we have in common make differences pale in comparison

  10.  @chengmunwai  First of all, Scotland is a NATION, not a region. Secondly, uk got out, Spain did not. So if a REGION like Catalonia secede they might be unable to reapply, because Brussel decision making body is made by nations who will otherwise balkanize themselves. So unanimous decision serve no purpose if not that of stopping EU to become a Federation
