@tommyp1124 If you don't like Eu rules you should exit
7
@DavidEdwards-uf5lg You are confusing EU with uk. No wait, uk is stuck into into the nineteenth century
6
@tommyp1124 Yes it does. Nobody decide anything, if you don't follow the rules you simply cannot stay.
5
@zi326 AHAHAHA no, Hungary would go alone like uk
4
@zi326 AHAHAHAHAHAH nope. Most of them would stay: Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Finland...not to mention none of the Wester country would follow, as brexit showed
3
@zi326 They are isolated, lost benefit and soft power. And none of others European countries followed them, they realized just because English believe they were special (they are, not in the way they think though) doesn't mean it's true and that they are entitled privileges. You overestimate euroscepticism, which was basically killed by brexit
3
You are misunderstanding something. By two tier they don't mean countries in EU to be allowed to do as they please. They will have to follow EU rules but, for example, they could not vote on certain matters I know English thought they could join an union and demand, making themselves the head of the union and deciding for others, but that's how uk works, real unions do not do that
2
@Micfri300 EU was created for all of that AND to create a Federal entity In a Federation or an union the singles countries cannot do as they please if it means override common law. Either they follow or they exit
2
@Micfri300 EU treaties say if one EU countries is attacked other must go in its defense. I didn't say anything else, learn how to read
2
@foicex We were MEANT to be a Federation but egoism stalled progress. Time o actually do it. If YOU don't like it, leave
2
@chinogambino9375 Because sadly, privileges were granted. Different times, which have changed, hopefully we learned What do you mean second largest? Population? Landscape? Not contributions,because uk was the 4th largest contributor
2
@zi326 No. That's why it need to Federalize
2
@sitrueis4007 West is only thinking about themselves? How pathetic you say so. East is taking the money but keep saying no to redistribution of immigrants. EU was supposed to be a Federal entity but now states like Poland and Hungary keep stalling. Well, that's it then:you're either fully in or you are not in the inner circle
2
@RRaymer AHAHAHAHAh EU is doing better economically than uk. Always have been. uk has become the sick man since 2016
1
@vikt "The EU is not the ECSC. The ECSC later on morphed into the EU and changed its goals" study History better And you are a fan of United States of Europe? If you are then you understand why veto has to disappear. I don't like the multi-tier that much but Hungary and Poland don't seem to be willing to integrate
1
@vikt Well, she was wrong. EU was born with the Federalists aim. And it was born in 1950 or, at worse, 1957. Ok, but to create a Federation you need veto to disappear, so it becomes a catch 22
1
@Micfri300 No they aren't
1
@Micfri300 They aren't
1
@Micfri300 Yes they would. It's in the Treaty. and not only Europeans treaties genius
1
AGREED!
1
@emazio4122 That can be discussed but some boundaries have to be set and once they are singles states canno overrule the federal system in place
1
@spliter88 "Having one europe united as a single country might be what germany and france want but it's not what the rest of the countries want." a FEDERATION, non a single unitary states. And it's not only Germany and France that want it
1
@chinogambino9375 "because of the founders had a federalist agenda, in reality the EU doesn't even need the Euro or Shengen" yes it did need them, because the goal was a Federation Italy is part of the inner circle, founder of EU and the Euro. uk pretended to be important but wasn't
1
@nntflow7058 Exactly
1
@Johnson_2022 No, that's the least worrying thing. EU cannot keep looking for unanimity when countries like Hungary and Poland keep looking at their own interests
1
@sitrueis4007 😆😆😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 what? Our economies would be non existent? Without EU money you wouldn't have an economy to speak of. You either follow common rules or you leave. uk wasn't allowed to do as it please we surely won't allow backward East countries to dictate the EU Try to read the treaties and STUDY History before making a fool of yourself next time
1
@rchatte100 AHAHAHAHA...no
