No, EU shouldn't be like ASEAN. The only reason of the non intervention policy is that ASEANs are corrupted dictatorships. EU is based on value of democracy and tolerance and what Poland is doing goes against those values.

And no guys , ASEAN wasn't founded before but AFTER the EU: EU was born in 1957, ASEAN in 1967, a whopping 10 years later
1
@harukrentz435 Yes, Germany is very corrupt
1
They are incomparable of course. EU is a POLITICAL union based on solid principles of democracy, freedom and equality. ASEAN is a TRADE partnership made up by, mostly, dictatorships
1
@fandytang6813 Ahahahahahahaahahahahahahaaha no, it's not, again the only reason for non intervention clause is because most of Asean members are corrupted dictatorships whose populations suffer
1
No it wasn't. EU was founded way before ASEAN 😉
1
BS
1
Ehm no. EU was way before ASEAN was even a thought
1
EU is way better. We are all democracies and created an union of peace of cooperation. ASEAN was founded only on trade by dictatorships interested only on maintaining their power
1
No, EU was born in 1957, a whopping 10 YEARS before
1
EEC is the EU. The difference being EU was meant to be a Federation
1
You think you're funny?
1
Yes it was a choice. Since 1957
1
ASEAN was never meant to be more than a free trade organisation, EU was meant as a political union since it was born in 1957 Ps: I'm 🇪🇺
1
EU is a peaceful project that aimed to become a Federation. ASEAN was created to defend the totalitarian regimes
1
NOPE. Such organisations would be all bark and not bite. Nobody cares about Nazi ussk
1
@adtastic1533 No, EU has countless times showed its weight. Nazi ussk left because it had not control over it. Tell me exactly how a loose trade organisation with different currencies and still some ec impediment is better than EU. Australia might prefer the latter because you, like your masters, cannot cope with not being on the centre of attention.
