This was the agreement America dwarfed uk with immense resources and a pool of physicists from all the world, especially Europeans uk officials only exchanged information in fear of American project having spies in their mists, while it was YOUR project security they should have been worried about, since Soviets already knew everything! uk went to look down USA to meekly stand aside saying "yes sir" as you should
