  50. You are both right and wrong. He didn't act fittingly on some occasions, also he failed to see his idea of Italy, a republic made by the people for the people, could not form. But he did fight all his life for Italy and he forsaw some changes and even problems Italy could face( as Garibaldi did). All that said, I think his contribution to Italy is important. Had Italy already being formed he may have been it's greatest President. Alas, we'll never know
