You see, EU cannot allow a nation to introduce low quality products in its market from companies that use uk government as a bank . Plus, there is a discrepancy in the size of both market, so uk cannot have a trade deal for free, it will cost you something. Face it, EU has some requirements to meet, it's up to you to decide if you want to and thus having a trade deal, or not

  7.  @eddiel7635  Nobody in the Parliament voted the Lords, while EU Parliament is all elected. If Scotland wants a referendum it will get one, unless uk is totally undemocratic. As for the deal, yes, uk asked for big privileges EU didn't concede to anyone, free access to its market, with no FTAs nor EU rules. That's unacceptable since even Japan and Canada accepted so.e rules and FTAs. This is the point you miss: self governance isn't absolute and to get a deal you have to compromise sometimes, it happens to EU and USA as well Ps: The TPTP is not as large nor as convenient as tradi g with EU or USA.
