@oliverschlesinger6744 Clearly it wasn't but AH didn't seem to care in 1908. I never said Italy is a noble victim. But painting it as a traitor when AH and Germany did way more treachery is ridiculous. WW1 is maybe not the brightest moment but it's not one of the direst either for Italy
1
@oliverschlesinger6744 Yes you can! By not respecting the treaty you yourself signed, doing treaties behind your ally's back like Germany and AH did. The Alliance was void and done so Italy did what it felt to do as a nation free from any obligation. I never thought Allies had more honour: seeing how they treated Italy, what damage they did to other countries, defeated or not, I wouldn't call them honorable. They did what all states would do in their position probably
1
English and French would be running away or give up. Italy won
1
Haig, Joffre... At least Cadorna showed good skills in managing a good defence on Piave
1
Italy fought against AH on Isonzo and Balkans, defeating them, Entente couldn't defeat 3vs1 Germany and dared not to respect the treaty they signed, like the bunch of inept coward they are
1
Actually the main reasons were uk, France, Germany and Russia, all of whom have military considered a joke
1
@hlibushok And? How was AH incompetent? Many monarchs dies by the hands of assassins in that period Maybe, but Entente or Germany or Russians weren't better
1
@hlibushok If it wasn't that, it would've been something else Because usually Russia is talked separately from the Western Powers of France and uk. All three were abysmal however
1
Winning by defeating the enemy while Entente couldn't 3 vs 1?
1
With Germany as an ally you don't need enemies...
1
@flaviusbelisarius932 This is why Germany is better as an enemy than an ally
1
@flaviusbelisarius932 We won't, we won't be betrayed this way.
1
Nothing. Attacked a bunch of undefeandable colonies
1
I love how France is so inept they lost to both African and Asians
1
Italy lost because of Germany. Had they not be so strategically deaf....
1
@nhrahat188 Without Italy Germany wouldn't have had the means to reach uk colonies in North Africa
1
@alviseossena3238 Axis lost when USA and USSR entered the war
1
Italy won alone against AH
1
It didn't. AH broke the treaty
1
@sursumkorda It didn't
1
@ Nope
1
@woolfyx English were not brave
1
@alking4153 Ahahahahahaha USA lost to a bunch of Chinese volunteers and people in pyjama armed with blowguns. Muricans don't know a thing about fighting
1
Such bull
1
Istria, Caporetto,Fiume, Dalmazia né Slovenia né Croazia
1
And poison wasn't? Beside, show me where it's said dum dum were illegal
1
Real warriors? Lol, who? The Polish? Those are not warriors, those are targets. English? Ahahahah if fighting was running backwards I'd agree.... Americans? They cannot beat people in pyjamas!
1
And so on...
1
@windogendoors7566 Numerical and logistic? LOL no
1
@windogendoors7566 In 1915 maybe. Not in second half of 1916
1
@bryant7542 Better strategies? So they could be killed on the sea by the Austrian navy or on the beaches, Gallipoli style? LMAO
1
@madkoala2130 Except I don't...not everybody is like you 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yes, after almost pushing AH to the brink. They survived because of Germans. Do you know what happened after? Italy won, beating AH alone and taking Istria and Isonzo something Allies couldn't do with Germans. Slavs of course cannot accept it, like they cannot accept they needed to be liberated in WW2
1
@gs7828 exactly
1
Exactly!
1
John Cornell Bulls. The drunken was trapped at El Alamein until reinforcements arrived
1
John Cornell Lol, sources?
1
John Cornell Then you will have no difficulty finding historical sources. You made the claim, it's up to you to prove it Lol
1
John Cornell uk moved from El Alamein to El Aghelia, 397 km, not 1100, LOL So, shall I give you the number for the transfer? Lmao
1
John Cornell Well, Volvograd to Smolensk are 1356 km https://maps.app.goo.gl/w3cJuzMa6xnkCa6Z8 Again, shall you give my bank account numbers so you can transfer the money?
1
John Cornell from 4 November to 11 december, when the battle of Aghelia started, it's 30 days and uk got help from America. Soviets didn't By the way Germany advanced from Poland East Prussia to Leningrad in a time that went from 22 June to 9 July. As I said, both German and Soviet advanced much further against a much stronger enemy, it goes for both sides, fighting bitterly. But please, do continue, it's funny to see British "buts"
1
John Cornell Lol no. It was 30 days Again, both German and Soviets moved on greater distance, sometimes faster, against greater force. As I said, from East Prussia to Leningrad in just 17 days. Again, I'll send you my account numbers for the transfer
1
Every battle of the Western front: the allies launch another senseless frontal assault!
1
Trieste it's its name. Trieste, Isonzo and Istria with its cities, like Capod'Istria, Pola, Fiume etc..
1
That sadly wasn't the kind of thinking they did at the time
1
@Papillombre27 Same happened to French against Italians in 1945
1
@clement7652 The Allies invaded the Italuans after theee years war. The Germans were already on Italian territory and Italy fought, didn't sureender like France in two weeks
1
Isonzo Gorizia Trieste Istria Capo d'Istria Fiume
1
@domagojgreguric6957 AH was falling from Italy's attack. They fought valiantly though...
1
Actually it become divided after Lombard invasion
