Japan already struggle but keeps its position because huge investment in technology and because the sense of duty of Japanese. China is BIG, for territory full of resources and because of its population. uk cannot compare to any of the two EU, on other hand, CAN be compared to China, not because the features of the Union is the same, nor it is the economy, but it's similar enough in both economy and size to be comparable. Size do matter
