  2. We Japanese are not sure whether EVs will bring total benefits to human society in the future. High-speed rail is a good thing, but just as it became an economic disaster once politicized by the Chinese government, EVs will follow the same path. In any case, the market is not functioning in China, so decentralized exploration and minimization of failure do not occur, and disasters become larger in scale.

  3.  @deathgun3110  That's right. Japan has already reached a decision on this point, and is planning to drive cars out of major cities and connect them with high-speed rail. So, the plan is to limit EVs to short-distance vehicles in rural areas.
