1. The Second Amendment is NOT "a god given right"
Nowhere in the Bible does god say he gave you the rights to carry a gun.
2. The Constitution was written 250 years ago, by men, imperfect men, not scientists or geniuses, but men who were politicians, in a time where the most powerful gun they gave you your bullshit god given rights" to was a single shot muzzle loader, not goddamn automatic machine guns or assault rifles with 1000 round capacity magazines.
To ignore that fact, simply to feed your pro-gun narrative is sheer ignorance on your part, and the parts of all of the other gunfreak Rambo's across the country.
3. No, Democrats NEVER said "defund the police" and you're a liar for suggesting they do, or did. We want less abusive cops answering calls for mentally challenged people, or people with mental issues, in favor of some sort of healthcare worker, or someone more qualified to deal with those people, other than trigger happy cops who kill them, saying the old coward bullshit line that "they feared for their lives"
4. My daughter is paranoid schizophrenic and has bipolar disorder. She lives on the streets of Portland. The police know who she is, and they bring a social worker with them when they know it's her they're going to have to deal with. She even pointed a toy handgun at them one time, and they talked her into putting it down. They take her to the mental hospital, they keep her for a night and throw her out the next day.
Until you've personally dealt with this kind of stuff, you have zero clue of what's really going on.

Who decides which rights are "inalienable" ?
Was it a human being ?
Legislation can be "amended", it can be changed to suit the times, the circumstance, etc...
The 2nd Amendment can be changed as well...
You calling something your "right" simply because someone else said it was, without the thought, that someone else can just as easily say the opposite, that it's no longer a right, is shortsided at the least.
