As a Liberal:
I want free universal healthcare, like every single free, industrialized country on the planet has, except the U.S.A.
that is NOT an unreasonable demand.
I want immigrants from other countries to be welcome here, as long as they go through the proper channels, just like we are allowed to live in their countries, should we choose.
If you or I lived in a shithole country, we would want to come here too.
I believe a woman has a right to do with her body as she pleases, just as I have a right to do with mine as I please. What we as individuals do with our bodies and lives is nobodys business but our own.
I believe that we as human beings, should lend a helping hand to those in need, even if that means carrying those that refuse to help themselves.
I dont believe that those who need the help should be neglected or punished for the actions of those that dont.
I believe our teachers should have to graduate college, and be professionally trained to teach, to assure a good, high quality education across the board.
I believe there should be some sort of oversight committee to assure the ongoing quality of the education being taught.
I believe that teachers should be paid far, far better than they are. They are teaching the next generation of teachers, professors, doctors, nurses, scientists, astronauts, politicians, etc...
I believe we should all face the reality of evolution, and discard religion and god for the betterment of mankind.
I believe that a man should be able to own a handgun and a rifle.
I believe all drugs should be legal.
Its your body, your brain, your life, and your death, and should therefore be your damn decision.
I believe the police, across the country, need to be reformed, stripped of their military riot gear, retrained in major de-escalation tactics, and wear bodycams that can not be turned on or off.
I believe in disbanding police unions.
I believe that Qualified Immunity needs to be abolished, and that when an officer is charged with misconduct, abuse, harassment or killing someone, that an independent, outside organization, not affiliated with the police in any way, should be the ones to investigate, charge, and prosecute them.
I believe that cops need to respect our 4th Amendment Rights, and quit demanding our attention, our ID, our information, and detaining us simply because they choose to.
I believe that every cop that has a record where theyve murdered, harassed, abused, beaten, struck, or intimidated anyone in the past, that they should be fired immediately, and put on a national register so they can not be hired as an officer again.
I believe we should make the privatization of prisons illegal.
I believe we should close down all of the 770 U.S. military bases around the world, bring the soldiers home, and leave the rest of the world to handle their own affairs.
I believe in term limits for politicians and judges !!!!
