@JoiskiMe If you didn't understand what he's trying to say then the monitoring of your studies by your parents was all for nought.

Tendency to conformity plays well with work ethic and academic performance. To me it's obvious.

@skylinefever This is more accurate. They just use their bodies it's nothing special about the women.

I am more or less bIack in Hawaii and to be entirely honest I feel significantly smarter than a lot of "locals" as a lot of people here eat unhelthily and just sound buffoonish. It's people of all backgrounds who've been here for too many generations who sound "slow" to me but it's mostly the ones with some Pacific Islander heritage (also about 65-70% of Pacific Islanders seem to have a chip on their shoulder, constantly, especially when interacting with whites). The culture here promotes inside-of-box thinking and you have to actively go against that to get ahead. My social groups here are mostly Asian/Indian, and to a lesser extent white. Polynesian people seem to be ok with me but they just naturally look/act intimidating. Micronesians come across to me as totally insane. They are very sneaky and steal things very quickly, like ninjas. They aren't as overtly violent as Mexican or BIack American thugs but they are just as excited to ruin your day for no reason.
