  1. UBI would need to support a system of Universal Merit Based Income (UMBI), a concept I invented, that rewards people to maintain and develop skills for additional disposable income that acknowledges the inherent differences in skills between humans. It also protects society from devolving into an "idiocracy" fully reliant on AI which might get wiped out by a random solar flare event. Which means if the computers stop, civilization could still operate because society would have protected and rewarded its talented individuals.
