Guns are in 4th place when it comes to mass killings by civilians, the top 3 are Vehicles, Knives and Explosives. Now apart from explosives should we also ban vehicles and knives?

I'm in a next to a gunless country and I wish there were guns, because I do NOT care if the police catches the guy AFTER I've been mugged, stabbed, shot or killed, I really don't...

@milhouse14 there is this thing called reloading which happens in under 4 seconds and yes it can, extended magazines exist. A glock 18, barreta, usp, five-seven and many more can have as many as 40 rounds. Get two of those suckers, one in each hand and you got 80. Now there are 60-80 round drums for pistols too, but they aren't very reliable. There are even 100 round double drums for the glock 18 and you can easily make it automatic, so one in each hand you got 200 rounds at 800-1200 rounds per minute fire rate. Man you don't know your guns.

@Bc232klm Oh really, ask the UK about the knives or Japan. In Japan a guy killed 19 adults and injured many others with a knive... In many european countries people driving trucks and even cars manage to kill many more people than anything else. Do I have to also remind you about certain planes doing certain things? And explosives, which are less common today have killed so many more than guns too.

In many european countries people driving trucks and even cars manage to kill many more people than anything else. Do I have to also remind you about certain planes doing certain things? And explosives, which are less common today have killed so many more than guns too. And we are talking about mass killings, not individual killings. The whole reason they want to ban them are the mass killings.

@milhouse14 And yet they do a better job at killing people than guns. Especially in places where people have a lot of them. People in Switzerland have about 4x more guns per civilian person than the USA, you don't see them shooting each other do you? While the UK's murders have more than tripled since they banend guns. They have a knife epidemic. Go and check which weapon has cause the most murders and mass killings, it's not guns and the places those happen the most are places where there are no civilians with guns to protect themselves.

@milhouse14 If you are smart about it yes. Go in a crowded, closed out space, start knifing them hard. I told ya a guy in Japan killed 19 adults and injured many more with a knife and the guy was tiny... Realistically a pistol can do more damage, because it's more compact, the AR15 you are flailing it left and right, it recoils more, though you can chamber it in 9mm, but still. A truck or bigger SUV can run through hundreds of people no problem like it did 6 times in France, or Wisconsin, WTC, Huston, Spain, Virginia, UK, Germany and Quebec.

@milhouse14 Yes they have knives and they have vehicles and they have bombs and they have poison... but nobody mentions that. Again go check actual stats on the killings and you'll see. Guns are 4th place when it comes to mudered and mass murder. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Remove guns you have vehicles, knives and bombs, remove those three you have baseball bats, rocks, hammers, pipes, wrenches, and many more... we ought to ban everything.
