@yikwanwong8267 stock markets are irrelevant to the vast majority of the population. Country economic growth doesn't matter when the purchasing power of the people is lower than ever. And 30% drop in violent crime because they made a ton of crime legal in many states. You can now steal and not go to jail... that's why Walmart closed in so many cities on the west coast. Unemployment rates may be low, but the people not working is higher than before. The price of food and homes(be it rent or price) have increased 70% from 2021-2024... the salaries have not even come close. Also if you remove the inflation and AI the stock market is actually below the inflation rate...

What matters is that people can afford to buy what they need and want with the money they earn, not weather or not there are X amount of Y type jobs.

@moptop7575 I got an engineering job, but it doesn't change the fact that today I'm a Junior in 2010 I'd be a senior with my current knowledge and skill... -_- And the fact that they want 2-5 years experience for bottom of the barrel jobs...

@The_Jocelot Yeah 2-5 years experience needed for bottom of the barrel jobs. And I work too, but you have no idea how hard it was for my brother to get a job, even though he was and is still overqualified for the job he got in terms of actual knowledge and skill.
