  1. Lower graphical fidelity is what allows games to be excellent and not broken on release, while also avoiding microtransacrions. High graphical fidelity is the reason most AAA games cost 100-500 million dollars, why devs can't test the game for more than 2 months before release and why unless they sell CoD or GTA numbers need to put microtransacrions to mitigate risk... Most AAA games sell 2-5 million copies while costing 100-250 million dollars and they get 34-37$ per unit sold at 60$.
