@MavAuto-Pete Dude if it was a rolling race the 911 doesn't stand a chance. It has an excellent gearbox that switches gears in <50ms and is smarter, knowing to instantly drop gears and it has great launch control, the GTR has a 2006 slow automatic that switches gears in 250ms and doesn't kick down for ages and isn't geared as well due to fewer gears. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the GTR, but we have to take into a count all the variables. The GTR's weakness is the gearbox.

@markwilliams5654 A petrol car that doesn't comply to any dumb emissions, fuel economy and noise regulations would smoke anything and everything... EVs are lucky there aren't any regulations for them yet. Just wait for Hydrogen ICE cars and you'll see.

@tyablo Exactly. So up to 6th gear with <50ms shifts + excellent launch control vs 6 gears with 250ms shifts + garbage launch control + stupid gearbox that takes too long to shiftdown when hard accelerating.
