  1. they never were, so they can't fall, that's what they've always been, because the education system has always produced useless people. Only people who self-educate light years beyond the education system made it.

  2.  @deadinside9565  And the rest of the world, don't worry it's not an America problem and on top of that, it's been like this since the very beginning. The difference is that up until the mid 1970s, (about 98% of)what at the time were high skill jobs needed only 1 month to 1 year of training on the job to become an expert. So it didn't matter that you didn't learn anything in university and school. Now the same jobs are either exported to china, and/or have become much deeper and more complex, while new very complex fields have emerged as well. Now you need 2-5+ years to become an expert in modern high skill jobs and previous high skill jobs from up to the 1970s that haven't evolved are considered mid-skill jobs, but almost all mid-skill jobs are exported in 3rd world countries or China.
