@0.0Seymour You should really learn how bad the capitalistic economy is and the snowball effect it has for people with wealth and the devastating truth of people who aren't born into wealth. And don't give me exceptions, they are called exceptions for a reason, unless you can name me 100 million living people who were born into shit and became billionaires it doesn't count.

@angelicadickson8666 that's why we need a new system, instead of recycling and adjusting old ones. If the USSR and USA got something right is that the other's systems sucked. And people being stuck in this better or worse mindset is a huge problem. Better is meaningless, it has to be GOOD and no system so far has been good. And the biggest technological progress was done during wars for wars, while the best prosperity is achieved after war by the winners and least affected. The USA became so powerful exactly because it was on the winning side of WW2, while at the same time being untouched, while the rest of the world was in ruins. Since WW2 we have only improved upon technology, evolved it and repurposed it, but we haven't had a technological revolution since. And I'm not advocating wars, but those are the cold facts. When people work to achieve something not for money, as money is not a factor in war, they do best.

@johnperic6860 Capitalism didn't help improve the quality of life or advance technology, it just didn't prevent it.

@johnperic6860 Nope, WARs are the reason we got so technologically advanced. Because during wars it's top priority to become as technologically advanced as possible, so that you have the advantage over the enemy. WW1, WW2 and all the skirmishes during the cold war. That's when the last technologic revolutions happened, from there on we've just been evolving said technology. We haven't had a new revolutionary technology that affects everyone since the invention of the transistor. And everything else along with the transistor has just been evolving.

@angelicadickson8666 dude the country didn't do well because of capitalism, SK did well due to the lack of oppressive dictatorship and a culture of hard working people, an economy model can only go as far as the government lets it...

@reecesanderson6696 I know how it works, but at the same time there needs to be a limit of wealth, that includes both assets and cash income. The rest should be paid to the workers of said assets or taxed. Let's say 1 billion dollars of total wealth. Everything else is equally distributed among the employees of the assets you own or taxed if it's something like real-estate. And scale it with inflation from there.

@Minhang-pt2hz no it's because the powers that be won't allow for change as it always has been and as it always will be. It takes revolutions to change systems like that.

@Minhang-pt2hz Well I never questioned if the world can be fair. It's not, and won't be as long as there is material scarcity and not enough automation. I accept the world as it is, even if it gets 10x worse I will still keep on moving and keep on learning.
