@Drewkungfoo I'm still to see an indie elden ring or even dark souls, and I'm not talking about graphical fidelity, I don't mind it being PS1 graphical fidelity like Pseudo regalia if the gameplay is as good as elden ring. And elden ring and dark souls are NOT AAA by 9th gen console standards. FromSoft had 250 people working on Elden Ring for 4-5 years, while Ubisoft or EA or Activision-Blizzard have 800-1000 people per game.

The RTX 4070Ti is probably the GPU will match the PS5 Pro's GPU, but the GPU alone costs as much as the console or more. Not the 6800 and 7700xt as the PS 5 PRO will have 2-3x faster Ray Tracing than RDNA2/RDNA3. Zen2 isn't that old considering that Zen3 and Zen4 are the only improvements and by 15-25% over each other each, Zen5 is not actually an improvement for 99% non-server tasks. What sucks in consoles it he low amount of memory since they are using GDDR6 memory and are limited in capacity.

@neofloggin3687 That's my point there is no indie game equivalent to AAA games, but with just much worse graphics, which is absolutely acceptable. The closest I can think of is battle bit remastered.

The only place you can get those prices for the CPU, Mobo and RAM is micro center, IDK how they get those prices, but there isn't a micro-center almost anywhere.

The base PS5 already has a GPU as good as the RX 6700 which is as good as the 3060Ti, so the PS5 Pro will be much more powerful than that and the Ray Tracing is much better too.
