@Witchlord I agee and I'd like to add that in my opinion and half-way objectively big die GPUs are stupid. Anything above a RX 6700XT(335mm^2 die size) is absolutely excessive, consumes way too much power, it's too big and heavy and gets outdated almost as quickly, or just as quickly in regards of ray tracing. And they are the reason for GPU shortages. If the most powerful GPU had a die size of 300mm^2 or less, we would never have to worry about a GPU shortage again, but instead for the past 8 years they've been making these huge 600mm^2+ dies and defects and yield does NOT scale linearly and we the consumers have all suffered for it. Back in the day the biggest GPU from AMD was 352mm^2 for the hd7970, and then the r9 290 was just 419mm^2, the hd6970 was 389mm^2, now we get these behemoths that are 600-754mm^2 it's just insane. The gtx 680 was just a 294mm^2 die chip. Nvidia has had the bad habit of making big die GPUs when they can't compete with AMD.

Maybe for the memory, but the GPU chips aren't better binned, becuase they consume a ton more power for a 5-10% overclock.

@Witchlord From what I saw outside of ray tracing the RX 6950xt beat out the RTX 3090Ti on average by 2-3%.

@Witchlord refreshes almost always suck and they do it to outdo each other. The 6x50 gpus consume a lot more power for a mere 5-10% increase in performance.

@Witchlord On your comment that got deleted, go check guru3d's review of the 6950x it wins in many games, by a little, and loses in others by a little.
