Simple build yourself a cool gaming PC with the newest available hardware with something like a ryzen 7 1700(X)/1800(X) or i7 8700k and a gtx 1080 ti maybe in SLI(preferably NOT), water cool it and make it the ultimate practical(somewhat) yet high-end/enthusiast dedicated gaming PC for nothing else, but gaming + streaming(the theme is awesome IMO) and use SkunkWorks as a legacy PC to test future games on or as a work PC at your office. It's NOT a downgrade in terms of gaming, since 2x gtx 1080Tis(if you do SLI) are the fastest GPUs you can get for gaming when overclocked from what I've seen so it's an upgrade there and since you will NOT use it for work, it can NOT be a downgrade for something it will NOT be doing on it.
